Checked out a ramen spot with a great vibe and a cool location—definitely a nice place to hang out. The presentation was solid, and they clearly put effort into the dish. Flavors were decent, but the broth lacked depth and the meat wasn’t as tender as expected. Not quite the authentic taste I was hoping for, but still a good attempt overall. Worth a visit if you’re in the area and craving something cozy.
The restaurant staff y very friendly and attentive. The ramen was chewy with good textures, the soup was very rich and flavoursome. my only negative feedback is the temperature of the food was lukewarm. My ideal ramen should be piping hot with steamy soup. Other than that the food was nice, the restaurant toilet was clean too.
Parco Ramen is a casual Japanese ramen bar located on Hall St in Moonee Ponds and Smith St in Collingwood. It is brought to you by Federico Congiu (Executive Chef Di Stasio) and gained popularity for its popup at Shinjuku, where the signature lobster ramen went viral. 🍜 The venue is small and walk in only, reminiscent of the small ramen bars of Tokyo. The menu is simple, consisting of 6 ramen varieties, a few don bowls, small sides and a dessert. All of the broths and noodles here are made in-house from scratch. Everything is portioned essentially for one person and not really for sharing. ⭐️ Salmon Sashimi - fresh, tasty, $16 for 6 pieces ⭐️ Chicken Karaage - well seasoned, crunchy yet moist inside, mayo and wasabi ⭐️ Tori Shio Ramen - tasty, good amount of noodles ⭐️ Spicy Coriander Ramen - I know it’s in the name, but this was definitely spicy! We actually visited about 6 months ago, didn’t love it and found the ramens bland. By the time I eventually got to writing the review, I checked their recent Google reviews and saw a massive change, so decided to give it another go. Glad we did, because it was nothing like before. Everything was delicious! The only downsides were the place does need a good scrub and fix and service was a little slow but friendly. The cocktail I got also was the shortest I’ve ever received, it was more like a shot. 😅
