Katana Ramen, located in Heathridge, offers a delightful and authentic dining experience that transports you straight to Japan. Here’s my detailed take on this charming ramen spot: Authentic Ambiance: The atmosphere at Katana Ramen is warm and inviting, with an authenticity that sets the perfect tone for a satisfying Japanese meal. Extensive Menu: The restaurant boasts an impressive menu, catering to a variety of tastes and preferences. Whether you’re craving ramen, katsu, or other Japanese favorites, you’ll find something to enjoy. Delicious Food: • Katsu Chicken: The katsu chicken was a standout. Perfectly crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside, it’s a dish I’d highly recommend. • Ramen Options: Both the chicken ramen and miso ramen were enjoyable. While the noodles weren’t quite to my personal preference, it’s worth noting that every chef has their own style, and the overall flavors of the ramen were satisfying. Final Thoughts: Katana Ramen is an impressive addition to Heathridge’s dining scene. The authentic ambiance, extensive menu, and delicious food make it a spot worth visiting. While the noodles weren’t exactly to my taste, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return for another meal. A great choice for anyone craving Japanese cuisine!

We've visited this restaurant twice now. On the first visit. For the most part, we had enjoyed it with the exception of the actual noodles (they were stuck/mashed together) and the soup was warm. We decided to give this restaurant another chance 6 months later. After waiting 45 minutes for our order to come out (it honestly wasn't busy), we were advised that they had run out of chashu and were supplemented with chicken instead. Furthermore, the noodles were quite hard and the soup was luke warm (again). The egg wasn't marinated either (which completely differs from what was displayed on the menu, I had ordered the "Signature Ramen" dish). Even though we're locals, I don't believe that we will return again.

Katana Ramen felt like a true slice of Japan with its beautiful décor and authentic atmosphere. The music added to the experience, perfectly complementing the setting. The food was rich, flavorful, and well-priced, while the service was excellent. I’ll definitely be returning!
