Hakata Gensuke – Ramen Professional (BRAND)

First visit here although this outlet has been here in Vic Park and fair while. We arrived on a Sun at opening time and got a table no issues. Brought my parents to try them out so we had a few different ramen to test out. Verdict everyone was pretty happy, and broth was tasty and at the right temperatures. Noodles cooked perfectly. We will be back!

It’s always a treat coming here! My wife and I went on a Thursday afternoon during happy hour and the $25 base ramen set that comes with a side and drink was delicious! I got the black tonkatsu and she got the god fire, karaage chicken and gyoza as our sides and it made for a tasty early dinner!

I recently visited this ramen spot and, while I appreciated the pleasant ambiance and the friendliness of the staff, I unfortunately wasn't a fan of the ramen itself. The broth had an off-flavor, almost like it had been sitting for a while and reheated. The meat was also quite bland, and I found it difficult to finish the bowl. Considering the high prices, I was disappointed with the lack of flavor and overall quality of the ingredients.
