  • Nothing like Ramen and this place delivers. Food was lovely with flavours and textures all giving the senses a treat. I had the Spicy Chicken Mazesoba and it had just the right hit of spice; karaage chicken was crispy, soft, well cooked and a delight. Other than issues with parking at Vic Park, the restaurant was a home run!

  • I can’t even begin to state how bad this restaurant was. We waited about 20 minutes for our drinks then a further 20-30 minutes for our food. Our meals came out individually rather than at the same time. To make things worse every dish was over cooked. The eggs were hard instead of runny and the pork was burnt. But believe it or not, the craziest part was they ran out of chopsticks. That’s right, a ramen shop telling me to eat my ramen with a fork. Disgraceful!

  • bariuma ramen has its own good style and flavour, but somehow can't bring myself to love it as much as hakata gensuke or keisuke tonkotsu, I think the broth is not as rich and naturally fatty in flavour, still it's a good ramen/dinner option I crave occasionally. got karaage chicken and spicy ramen, lady behind the counter was super friendly and honest about the spicy level, she recommended me a lower level than what I would have picked and I'm so glad she did, as a chilli lover even she thought level 1 spicy was plenty and I agree! salmon rice bowl was yummy, chicken drumsticks had a soft texture with plain flavour.
