Shujinko The Glen (DANDENONG)

Went on the first Saturday of opening when there was grand opening special $30 buffet. Food - Tried many different plates. All were OK, nothing really outstanding but nothing was bad. Service (1/5) - Asked for the included limited sashimi dish and was given a general explanation could be out of stock. I actually saw a few plates already prepared behind the sushi train. Asked the waitress what dessert she was offering and was told don't know and no interest to find out. Unlikely to return again in the near future after this experience. I know staffs were under pressure as was busy with lots of customers but have not seen this type of service level at a sushi restaurant.

Super friendly staff, nice restaurant with quick service, and most importantly, delicious tasting ramen! Portion is quite small from what I’m used to, I’m not sure if this is normal, but there was only strip of pork. Comparing to Shuyen Ramen who have a lot more quantity for less the price as well. But still delicious. Chicken Karage was a little over deep fried and was quite hard to bite into.

Shujinko is the perfect spot to warm up with a bowl of delicious ramen in Glen. Their selection of Japanese dishes, including rich ramen, comforting oden, and hearty donburi, offers a comforting escape from the cold. The traditional flavours and quality ingredients make each bite satisfying. Ideal for cozying up this season!
