Ramen & Dumpling House – Mt Waverley 香辣小菜馆 (DANDENONG)

What a nice cosy little gem. Small cosy style, hardwood thin tables and ambience looks so traditional. Great value for money. We had booking so we were quickly seated. Considering it was week day it was busy. 1st thing we got on the table was complimentary hot tea. This adds to traditional. Impressive. All our dishes were cooked to perfection. The high light was veg stir fry which was the best I had in any restaurant. All veggies thinly sliced, cooked perfectly to leave little crunchy. Simple cooking at best. My son and daughter loved the dumplings and fried rice. We promised our cousins to take them next time at this place. Highly recommend everyone to visit this place. Kind and humble staff.

Love this place, its got some very dangerous ramen (delicious and fattening). I was going here everyday for about a month while I was working night shift nearby. Definitely recommend this place for anyone that's after traditional tasting Chinese food, always busy, staff are polite and accommodating. Atmosphere is great, really has that old but good Chinese restaurant vibe.

Whilst in the area for an appointment with another local business, we thought we'd spend the wait time supporting hospitality. This restaurant was buzzing from the moment we walked in the door, cosy and warm inside. We were greeted instantly and seated quickly, tea on the table, very impressive. Had the sweet and sour pork with dumplings, both dishes were delicious and well portioned. There was a mix of takeaway and dine in patrons, the staff were kept busy at all times. Enjoyed my experience and would definitely dine in again.
