  • Perfectly serviceable ramen on the outskirts of Launceston's CBD; will definitely hit a craving if it's what you're looking for Woke up and was in the mood for ramen - enter this gem of a place. Ramens always a good time, so saying "the ramen is good" is a bit redundant (but it's worth mentioning). Alongside this they serve some Japanese classics that bring home those classic flavours Outside of the food, there's not much more that grabbed my attention; service was fine and the setting was clean/nice. To be fair though, you're here for the ramen and that's what sells it

  • We had such a great meal at Gatsu Gatsu. Everything we ordered was delicious— their Kuroi ramen was rich and flavorful, with perfectly cooked noodles and flavourful broth. The toppings, especially the marinated egg and chashu, were spot on. We also tried their chicken teriyaki don, which was so tender and tasty. Beautiful presentation and great value.

  • Our dinner at Gary’s in Launceston wasn’t exactly our favorite. The ramen was just okay—not particularly memorable, with the broth and noodles lacking that rich depth of flavor we were hoping for. The fried chicken was a bigger disappointment, as it wasn’t very tasty or crispy, which really let the dish down. Overall, it didn’t quite meet our expectations, and we left feeling a bit underwhelmed by the meal. My son not even want to eat the fried chicken after first bites.
