Went for lunch 11th Jan. Very comfortable dining room. The staff were very friendly and polite. Spent $64 for 3 dishes for 2 people including 1 beer. Fair price in my opinion. Food made to order. Not much of a wait time. Maybe 15 people or more at lunchtime. My partner is originally from Japan and she was very impressed with all aspects. There is outdoor seating, but it was too hot to sit outside. Definitely going to be a return customer.
I had tried kingfish sashimi, ramen and salmon lover sushi. Both sashimi and sushi were delicious and fresh while ramen was just so-so. The sushi portion was really bigger than I expected. Overall, it was a good meal in the hill.
Absolutely the BEST Kingfish Carpaccio I have had in Australia. Fantastic service and super friendly staff and Chef. A must visit for lovers of Japanese cuisine. Very highly recommended. 😋
