It was good to return to Wasai again. After They are a reliable Japanese restaurant to go to with a menu that includes Vegan options. When I made my reservation, I put in the note that someone dining with us is Vegan and they provided a Vegan menu. +1⭐️ We had the tuna sashimi from the specials menu. It was fresh and sliced well. Also from the specials menu was the grilled Mackerel which I enjoyed very much. The medium Sashimi and Sushi boat was generous and priced well for 2 people to share. We also had the grilled squid which was grilled to perfection - it was tender and sweet. The beef tataki was beautifully sliced thinly with a light sauce and combined with the fresh sliced red onion, it was delicious. +3⭐️ Our Vegan friend had a bowl of hearty soba noodles that came with a plate of tempura vegetables. It was enjoyed. +1⭐️ One of my favourite Japanese restaurants in Adelaide.
Our second visit to this place and the food is absolutely delicious! Like how you can scan code and online menu (with pictures), and you can order directly from there.
Very nice staff and very authentic food. The soba salad is a must try. We keep coming back for it. The beef tataki was fresh and agedashi tofu is quite good too.
