  • I've been to another Manpuku location several times, and I was really excited when I found here close to my home. This Manpuku is on soft open period, to whom see this review you can probably check out their instagram for details. I ordered Shio Tonkotsu and 'Long name' which is their signature menu. Both had the seaweed sheets missed out. Didn't complain at all because they're on soft open. but the signature ramen smelled kind of weird like as. too much pork smell. If you have an experience that when you travel to Japan, get in a really local restaurant in countryside where it is not famous at all to order pork ramen, that smell. I reckon it is because of menma which smelled too fermented and all mixed with its shoyu based broth, made me smell that way. To be clear, I had no problem eating it though. Shio Tonkotsu ramen had less volume of broth than other Manpuku restaurants, and I don't know why but I felt both tasted a bit bland. This is located in the Cannery where other nice shops are placed as well as Aldi. Car park provides only 1 hour so if you need more time, you should probably look for street parking nearby. There are generous number of tables inside, and more outside (but I'm not sure those are public)

  • First time visited Manpuku at The Cannery during my work lunch break and had a frustrating experience. My order was mistakenly given to someone else, and since there was no receipt or order number provided, the staff had no way of tracking which order belonged to whom. I ended up waiting 45 + minutes for a simple ramen lunch, getting takeaway instead of dining in bc I was nearly late for a work meeting. The whole ordering process felt disorganised and random – it’s clear they don’t have a proper system in place. For the price and food was just okay — average portion size and taste is good, nothing that justifies the long wait or the premium pricing. I come cannery really often for lunchbreak but I would not recommend coming here if you’re on a lunch break or short on time.

  • Hands down some of the best ramen we’ve had, rich broth, perfectly chewy noodles, and the egg has the best flavour. Tried it for the first time after tattooing as we run a creative studio upstairs. Lucky to have this gem right beneath us highly recommend if you’re in the area
