KINOTO Japanese Restaurant (NSW NORTH COAST)

This is such an authentic place for Japanese Food! I am a regular traveller in Japan and this place are just awesome for my food experience. I order Chicken Nanban Lunch Special and it doesn't disappoint me at all! Great Value for money.not too mention so delicious. 最高 美味でございます。Highly recommended and come try for it yourself!!!

It's a very homey family-run restaurant. The taste and price were great, and the atmosphere was very comfortable and familiar to local customers. I'd like to go there at least once a week.

Kinoto staff are so wonderful. You guys let me grab a drink and sit for 20 minutes until the rest of my party came, which was so kind of you. Thank you! The kitchen staff also look so happy and work hard! My favourite food item would probably be the sushi rolls. They were made fresh and were delicious. Those were a 10/10! I would definitely go here again just to get some more sushi rolls. We ordered the barramundi, wagyu beef and salmon Don. The wagyu beef was delicious! I'd also order that one again for sure. I also love that this restaurant gives you a salad, rice AND CHIPS with your meal! It's a huge meal and definitely good for us when we didn't have lunch. I personally found that the barramundi wasn't my favourite dish, especially due to the tiny fish bones throughout mine. Which obviously is unavoidable and not their fault. The fish fell apart beautifully, but I found the flavour a bit lacking. I would definitely come back again for their lunch specials when I visit the Gold Coast again. Also because they're so conveniently next to the train station. Good location.
