Absolutely delicious! I was craving ramen, my usual places are Gumshara and Menya in Chinatown. So I wasnt expecting Kosuke to be this good! Omg this place is excellent! The flavours are authentic and serving sizes are generous. The staff are friendly and helpful. I was recommended some excellent dishes by the staff here. The establishment was clean and tidy. I will see you guys again soon!
Authentic Japanese Ramen in Sydney — A True Taste of Japan As a chef with a deep appreciation for Japanese cuisine, I’ve tasted ramen across Japan—and this hidden gem in Sydney truly captures that spirit. I ordered the fish-based ramen, and it was outstanding. The broth was rich and elegant, full of umami yet not overwhelming, with perfectly cooked noodles and thoughtfully prepared toppings like tender chashu, bamboo shoots, and a beautifully marinated egg. My husband chose the tsukemen (dipping noodles), which was equally impressive. The noodles were served cold with the perfect firm texture, and the dipping sauce was bold, smoky, and complex—exactly what tsukemen lovers crave. It’s not easy to find this level of authenticity outside Japan, especially with tsukemen on the menu. You can feel the craftsmanship in every detail, from the ingredients to the warm, understated setting. Highly recommended for anyone who values true Japanese flavor, done with heart and precision. We’ll definitely be returning.
Excellent ramen, reminds of the gumshara ramen in haymarket that was featured in time out. I tried the tomato base ramen with light chilly. Broth was excellent noodles geat texture and bamboo shoots weren't served cold. The egg was whole one instead of the trend of half egg. I would say this is better than manpuku in chatswood. Ashamed its very small and there is a wait for food which they pre warn you on the menu. If you have time give it a go you won't be disappointed.
