Review: Gyu-en Japanese BBQ – Perth CBD good seance Guy-en is a new addition to Perth’s Japanese food scene, bringing with it the unique charm of Japanese-style table BBQ—something you’d usually expect more from Korean eateries. What sets this place apart is its all-you-can-eat Wagyu beef, which is the highlight of the experience. The food quality is decent, with a good selection of meats and sides. Everything we tried was flavorful and cooked well on the grill—nothing to complain about on the taste front. However, where the place falls short is the ambience. It’s small and a bit too congested, which takes away from the relaxed BBQ experience you'd expect. On top of that, the frequent fire alarms going off really put a damper on the vibe. It’s a little chaotic, and that can be off-putting for some diners. With a bit of attention to space management and ventilation, this place could elevate itself significantly. Overall, great concept and decent food, but needs some fine-tuning to become a true standout in Perth’s growing Japanese food scene.

Had an amazing time at Gyu-en! The premium rib was outstanding, the beef liver was a surprise hit, and the beef tataki is something everyone will love. Highly recommend!

This is very good and the staff are very amazing. This really genuine experience of great qaulity beef made this the better. Even if the beef was bad (which is isn't) the staff and enviroment could make up for it 10/10 best place for birthdays, hangouts and overall food.
