Sushi rice was dry and a little hard. Didn’t taste fresh at all, like it had been sitting for a while. Price was competitive and service was friendly. But most importantly the sushi was not good compared to what i was expecting by the positive google score
Walked to this sushi shop and ordered Asaka Bento Lunch Special ($18.50). The combo includes teriyaki chicken, 2 pieces of fried chicken, 1 piece of fried fish and one fried prawn. Love the salad with mayonnaise dressing and the crunchy yellow pickles. Worth the money. Delicious food with affordable price! Will come back again.
Food was very good, amazing value as well. I came a bit after lunch hour, so unfortunately they didn’t have any pork belly don left. Instead I was suggested the chicken katsu don, along with some side dishes (would recommend the takoyaki skewers). The flavour of the chicken don was quite powerful, but it was really quite nice along with the crispy chicken. Also, at the time we came it was very quiet and relaxed. Would come again as their food is good, and there’s a large variety.
