Been here a couple times now. A little hidden gem for a Japanese restaurant. Dishes are well presented and yummy. Always go for the takoyaki side and a main. This time I tried the curry katsu chicken with rice combo. Was delicious especially the katsu chicken had just the right crispyness and taste. Curry was nice too. Great experience. Lovely staff couple runs the place think, clean place, easy to order QR system pay over the counter style. I like it. Well done 👏 Will visit again
Visited WAZA and found the interior bright and inviting. Ordering was done via a QR code, but there was a discrepancy between the prices on the digital menu and the physical menu provided . this was confusing. While the food was nicely presented, the Karaage fried chicken was extremely dry and unpleasant, to the point that it was left uneaten. We did get an apology!
Lovely little place for some ramen. I think this can come as a little hidden gem in Clayton, a bit low key it seems in around all the other great places to eat. Pictured is the miso ramen, really nice overall and well presented. The ramen portions seem a little smaller than Shujinko, maybe get some sides if big eater. Broth was balanced and was happy to finish it off at the end, pork was also good and is worth the extra on the side, flavourful stuff. Okonomiyaki is served on a skewer which I've never had served like that before, which was different and decent aactually. Friendly staff also. I found nothing wrong with the ramen so it gets a 5. Would visit again. 5% off for cash. Order on the QR but you pay in person upfront.
