For a local spot in Flemington, it hits the spot for a Japanese feed. Offers dishes such as hamburg steak which I don’t often try at most places in the CBD. From memory the sauce with the hamburger was off the rails. Good team here creating a local suburban Japanese feed.
Overall, my friends and I had a pleasant dinner here. The customer service was really lovely. 🥰 Their una don tasted really nice. The eel was beautifully seasoned. Probably the best dish we tried here. ⭐️ Their udon was also not bad. The noodles were nice and bouncy - just the way I like it. 👍🏼 Their maguro zuke don tasted average. We found it a little overpriced for what it was. 🫤
Cons: -Nothing special about atmosphere. It is clean but it does not project Japanese vibes. -Sushi was not good. Pros: -One of the best chicken katsu curry. Chicken is a bit small, but the stew is delicious and full of flavours. -Friendly Staff Highly recommended for chicken katsu curry.
