Ramen & Dumpling House Doncaster East 香辣小菜馆 (RINGWOOD)

I spy with my little eye something starting with DUM for. Pan fried Chicken and prawn dumplings were tasty and cooked perfectly. The Seafood noodle soup had a generous portion of seafood with hand made noodles. Better than expected. Fast service and a good place for a quick lunch.

I would give this restaurant no stars if this was an option. I ordered over $130 in takeaway and what I got was burnt, and undercooked dumplings, disgustingly over battered salt and pepper prawns and solid rock hard sweet and sour pork. We have dined here many times in the past but the food was absolutely shocking this time. Never coming back.

Aiya! How can I not telling you about this restaurant? This restaurant is one of my favourite restaurants in Jackson Court, Doncaster East. Why? The food is great. If you want simple authentic Chinese food, this is the place to go. The price is reasonable. The staff are friendly. I don’t know why some people told me the staff in this restaurant are rude. But I never experienced it. Perhaps those people who told me the staff are rude, they should have think about their actions in this restaurant. Were you demanding this and that when the restaurant was busy? Don’t you dare to think that I paid for the food and service, so I want it now!!! Back to the sharing, as far as I know the chef and the kitchen hands, they have prepared the food on site in the early hours, so they would not rush to prepare and cook the meals, then serve badly to their customers. Just love their food, so tasteful without too salty or oily. Good job! I’ll come back for the more buns next time!
