Tucked away down a laneway, this hidden gem serves up some of the best ramen with great cozy lighting and wonderful service, creating the perfect atmosphere. Each dish features unique flavors in rich, comforting broths. The Goma Ramen was definitely my favorite, with perfectly handmade noodles paired with a mouthwatering sesame soy broth that had such umai flavors — so perfectly crafted and refreshing. I also loved the bold and vibrant vegetarian Tsukemen ramen. While the dishes were fantastic, I would've appreciated a side of pickled ginger or radish to help cut through the richness of the broth. However, asking for dashi (stock) really helped meld the flavors beautifully. It's a great place for those seeking unique and delicious ramen
Dipping ramen! We did like the texture of the noodles yet the soup was really really salty. I know it’s the case but I think it’s not my preferable way to eat ramen… Service was good. I did love the vibe. It gives you a hidden and mysterious atmosphere. Probably will just stick to traditional ramen in the future…😅
Came here for a birthday dinner. Food was good with good service. Restaurant was fairly quiet and the closed downstairs. We were the last ones at the restaurant. My friends had a brought 2 small slices of cake as a surprise which the waiters kept in the fridge and were aware that we were having it at the restaurant as we sang happy birthday and gave us plates/forks. After we had pretty much finished the cake , a man in a hat rushed from the bar across came in to tell us off for having cake and that we should have asked. He was unreasonably angry and very aggressive at us for having 2 small slices of cake. We were not told about an extra charge or that we couldn’t have cake. We would have been happy to have the 2 slices of cake outside and not in the restaurant if we were treated like this. If the staff were not aware of the rules I don’t see why we would need to be abused by such aggression on a birthday evening. This put a bad taste in our mouth to return to an old favourite or even to Robot Bar where the man came from.
