Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. The sashimi was fresh and the slices were thick. The seafood had a sweetness to it. Sukiyaki with udon was also really good; the soup base was a little too sweet but the there was generous amount of meat. Perfect on a cold day. The grilled skewers were delicious as well. Pear sake was overly sweet though and masked the sake.
So disappointed I feel obligated to post my first review. Extremely disappointed in the portion size of this. See the three pictures below, the one with the spoon is what was delivered to me. Compare that with the other two examples, one from a year ago and the other is their picture from the Uber Eats app. I received barely any Eel, though the taste was acceptable, there was hardly any to enjoy. Definitely would not recommend this dish if you want eel as you're paying more for the rice than eel.
The most beautiful little spot, the atmosphere was so lovely and quaint. Service was amazing received food within 20 minutes of ordering, waitor and waitress were super friendly and patient. Best udon I've had and reasonably priced for the portion!! Very generous on the meat too, enoki mushrooms would have been great with it. Seemed to get quite busy so make sure to book a table. Will definitely be comming back!
