Comfort Jap food at this location. Awesome. I love the torched salmon nigiri and the fried chicken tasted super good while curry was okay.
An early lunch on a rainy day. I selected Udon and took a seat at the counter at the facing Hobart Road. The other seating options looked a little…sticky. My meal was hot and freshly prepared. While not the greatest broth of all time, the soup was still very tasty and I was not disappointed. Neither was I ecstatic. Have I had better Udon? Yes. Was this the worst Udon I’ve ever had? Emphatically no. Not even close. Somewhere comfortably at the higher end of middle. A hot fresh healthy meal at a reasonable price. Would I eat here again? Yes. Would I expect raptures? No.
The food was ok. However if was more of a fusion rather than Japanese. Very friendly staff! 😄 …
