Katsumoto Japanese Restaurant (SA FAR)

Katsumoto Restaurant is a gem for lovers of authentic Japanese cuisine. Specializing in classics like curry, yakitori, and beautifully crafted bento boxes, this spot delivers on both flavor and experience. During our visit, we enjoyed a delightful spread that included Vegetable Gyoza, Yakitori, Potato Korokke, the Tori-Teriyaki Katsumoto Bento, Karaage Chicken, Original Tonkotsu Ramen, and the Tori-Teriyaki Don Set. Every dish was flavorful and well-prepared. The Traditional Japanese Green Tea served in a teapot added a charming touch, and the Cream Daifuku was the perfect sweet finish to an incredible meal. Service was outstanding—staff were friendly, polite, and offered great recommendations. There is plenty of seating available. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend Katsumoto to anyone seeking a genuine Japanese dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I asked the staff and he recommended katsu with rice (I forget its name ). The food is nice and staffs are friendly. I really enjoy my lunch there.

Just had a bowl of ramen at Katsumoto and it was absolutely satisfying. The broth was rich and creamy, full of umami flavor without being too heavy. The chashu pork was tender and melt-in-your-mouth, while the marinated egg had the perfect soft center. I also loved the attention to detail with the bamboo shoots, narutomaki, and fresh green onions – everything was balanced so well. The seaweed added a nice crunch and brought the whole dish together. Definitely a comforting and delicious bowl. I’ll be back for more!
