Reviews

  • The reviews weren't wrong the rolls sort of fall apart when you touch them but it was alright taste wise. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Not the best sushi not the worst in mackay, fair decent prices for the food.

  • The reviews that say they're not very good at making sushi are correct. As described by others, our rolls were not rolled tightly and fell apart when picked up with chop sticks. Basically everything fell apart. The ingredients were fine but they are not sushi chefs. Salmon was cut incorrectly so that a nagirizushi could not be bitten in half and was a mushy, chewy, sinuey, stringy mess. Also, the salmon on the salmon nagirizushi had a texture like it had been refrozen, sort of mushy, but stringy because it was cut wrongly. The gyoza were good. They need to learn how to make sushi or bring in an expert. This place could have been good but it wasn't. If it had been standard sushi, we would have gone back.

  • This sushi shop i was a little dissapointed. I watched the young boy make the sushi, ok it was fresh. However, way to much rice. And it was totally falling apart. My rainbow roll cost $18:90 i ate half left the rest. I sadly won be back :-(
