Sushi honke (CENTRAL QLD)

We ordered the Wagyu beef with teriyaki sauce and the chicken karaage udon. My wife enjoyed the udon; however, I found the Wagyu beef somewhat disappointing. Although it was tender, A few pieces were particularly unpleasant to chew, to the point that I had to return it to the plate. The dish was presented beautifully on a sizzling hot plate, which added a dramatic and appealing touch. I would recommend a more meticulous preparation of the beef—thoroughly trimming away excess fat and any chewy or unpalatable parts—so that only clean, high-quality cuts are served. The pricing was reasonable. However, the ordering tablet placed at the table requires improvement. Currently, once an item is selected, it is immediately sent to the kitchen for preparation, which prevents diners from reviewing or finalizing their selections as a group. I strongly suggest redesigning the system to follow a "cart then order" model, allowing customers to review and confirm the entire order before submission. This would greatly enhance the overall dining experience.

Always good fresh sushi, and the side dishes make a great meal if you order them. Good for the family, can get busy around dinner time but always good for the family.

We have been coming here since our daughter was 2 years old, she is now turning 7 years old. The quality of the sushi never changes, the taste is always flavoursome. The type that makes you come back for more. We have eaten at alot of sushi places but this sushi place is the best one. The chef, waiters and attendant are great , friendly and accommodating. Thank you for always making our family dates an enjoyable and fulfilling time. We love SUSHI HONKE!!!!
