IPPIN Japanese Dining (CENTRAL QLD)

A lovely place in Westend. Parking available at the shopping centre. Easy to find. Staffs were very friendly. Food was nice: fresh and clean (sounds like a weird and low bar but we have been to some Japanese restaurants were not). Portion was reasonable. Dessert was definitely a highlight. The only remark is the source of the pork dish with rice was cold. Worthwhile to return for the second round!

I really loved this place! As soon as you walk in, you're amazed by the place, the decor, the details, everything. The service was excellent; we felt very well looked after the entire time. The food was delicious and arrived relatively quickly. Highly recommended for special occasions.

Wow—what an incredible dining experience at Ippin Japanese Dining in Brisbane’s West End! From the moment we walked in, we were enchanted by the stunning interior—so sleek and elegant, with warm timber accents and views over the treetops. It truly felt like a hidden oasis! The food was out of this world. We started with the edamame, perfectly seasoned and addictive, then moved on to the freshest 11-piece sashimi platter—every slice was silky, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The kingfish ceviche was a standout too, so zesty and refreshing with just the right kick. We couldn’t resist ordering the tempura vegetables, which were light, crispy, and not at all greasy—absolutely delightful. The chicken karaage was juicy and crunchy, bursting with flavor, and the beef tataki melted in the mouth, with such a delicious smoky edge. Every dish was a winner! The service made it even better—the staff were so warm, friendly, and knowledgeable, taking time to explain each dish and ensuring we had the best experience. We also loved the cocktails, each one beautifully crafted and perfectly balanced. Ippin is hands down a must-visit for anyone looking for authentic, high-quality Japanese dining in Brisbane. We left feeling so happy, satisfied, and already excited to come back. Highly recommend!
