SOY Japanese Restaurant (BONDI)

Lobster roll was sumptuous and great portion size Service excellent and staff friendly kind and very attentive.

Soy is my partner and my favourite Japanese place in Bondi - we like even more than Raw bar (which gets a little crowded and has long wait times). All the food is amazing and made with to a high standard with great quality ingredient. The service is great also, and the waiters always serve food with a smile on their face. They often have special dishes, as well as great sake options to try. Just miss the Suntory beer they used to have, but they have a few other Japanese beer options.

Service was decent but quality of food wasn't up to scratch. Caparcio dish didnt have the citrus flavour expected. Tataki beef too tough to chew. Sashmi so so - slices were very big and cuts uneven in size. Best dish we had was the volcano sushi roll.
