Sou Ramen Lab Chatswood (CHATSWOOD)

We had the best ramen here in Chatswood! 🍜🔥 The broth was rich and full of flavour, the noodles were perfectly chewy, and the chashu pork just melted in our mouths. Every bowl was a comforting hug in a bowl. Super cosy vibes, quick service, and so satisfying—definitely a must-try if you’re in the area! 🙌✨

The quality is far worse than their North Sydney shop, both in flavour and presentation. Held high expectations ordered their signature rich chicken broth ramen. However it was quite disappointing. It’s called richi richi supposed to be a very rich broth but what I got was super thin broth, no flavor and richness at all. And the noodle is totally different as well, it should be the flat noodle so it can coat all the rich broth when you eat it. However they served this noodle with normal round noodle. I knew what this Ramon should taste like cuz I went to their North Sydney shop million times. Won’t come back to this Chatswood shop anymore, left with anger. This is just abt the best ramen you can get in Sydney period, flavour profile is off the charts for both their chintan and paitan base, and extremely balanced to boot, unlike a lot of other ramen places that seem to use salt to make up for the lack of actual flavours in their soup base. A must-try for any self-professed ramen aficionado imho!
