IKI Sushi & Grill (BANKSTOWN)

Highly recommended! A great Japanese restaurant, a friend recommended it to me, and it has become our most frequented restaurant ever since. The dishes are fresh and delicious, beautifully matched. The prices are affordable, and the meals are generally between 10 and 30 dollars. The waitress is thoughtful and warm, my daughter came to eat with hair out today, and the waitress specially gave her 2 hair bands, which was so touching!

Tho Japanese restaurant has been my favourite go-to place to eat with my family! The food is amazing, the service exceeds standards and the restaurant atmosphere is always warm and welcoming! I strongly recommend going to this place if you’re hungry and looking to spend quality time with your loved ones.

There was a power issue on the train during my commute today, which caused delays and cancellations… It was such a cold, exhausting, and super stressful. I was late to my dinner plans and we ended up starting an hour later than planned. But as soon as I saw the food, all the stress just melted away! Last week I went to a Japanese place in another area and we ordered a ton of food, but even after all that, we weren’t full and ended up grabbing some bread from a café. But iki is totally different – way more affordable and so satisfying every time. I felt like all the tiredness from the day just disappeared. The teriyaki chicken salad was awesome – way more chicken than other places usually give you! Same with the Nagasaki udon – it was perfect for a cold and rainy day like today. I wrapped up the meal with some gelato – had three flavors, but couldn’t help taking a bite before snapping a photo. Oops! There’s also a private group table inside – I’ve seen people celebrate birthdays there pretty often. Since I was the last one out tonight, I took a few pics of the interior too.
