Ureshii Japanese Restaurant (CANBERRA)

my partner and I have visited Ureshii almost every week for the past month or so, and have not been disappointed once!! staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the food is beautiful. our go-to choices are the katsu chicken with curry, the teriyaki beef plate, beef udon stir fry, tempura prawn sushi rolls, or pork belly misoyaki, but i don’t think there’s anything on the menu that isn’t delicious. for the serving size and quality of food, the price is very reasonable. they offer digital ordering with a QR code on the table (but the lovely staff are happy to take your order personally as well) which i really appreciate. they also offer gluten free and vegetarian options! 10/10 !!!

Came here for my bday dinner last night. Loved my dine in experience here. The waitress was so lovely, welcoming and enthusiastic about her job. The overall vibe and atmosphere was sooo cute and clean, so simple yet elegant. The only thing I wasn’t sure about was the sushi being a warm temperature. I’m not sure why it was like this I’ve never had it like that before but the flavours of everything were beautiful nonetheless. Thankyou for having us :))

Canberra Southside is so lucky to have a Japanese location like this. We've been here maybe just under 10 times now and I regularly think about going here. We always get the Bento box bentos boxes and they are always great. I'm generally a bit picky when it comes to Australian sashimi, but I love there and it compares really well to sashimi I've had in Japan. Decor is well done and music choice is very good. I enjoy being to order online and see pictures of the food so I know what I'm getting. If I have people who want to dine at a Southside location this is going to be high on my list of places to go.
