Tokyo Canteen (CANBERRA)

This is literally one of the best Japanese restaurants I have ever been too. Me and my friends go here quite often. I usually get the Japanese curry with Tofu here because it's literally my favourite and super delicious. I love the crispy tofu that they server with the curry. Personally I think they serve the best Matcha in Canberra. I usually get the Iced Matcha with Oat milk and has always tasted really good. They should definitely consider doing a loyalty card or a program. If they start a loyalty card I know that me and my friends will definitely be going there ever week.

This is a cute little restaurant in the Eyre Street Market. They have a small but well thought out menu to give some variety and fusion! My friend and I had the curry rice and the prawn tempura udon. The udon has pickle in it so don’t be surprised with the slightly sour taste, it is subtle. I am an udon lover anyway but I wish they would bring back their ramen nights ramen nights.

Tokyo Canteen is ok. Firstly, the food was a bit bland and, in my opinion, needed more flavour. However, staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pretty good. Prices were okay considering the large portions you get. All in all, come to this place if you want food that's healthy.
