Koku Super Kare (CANBERRA)

Tried the Japanese chicken katsu curry with rice and added cheese today— it was incredible! The chicken was super crispy but still juicy inside, and the curry sauce was rich and flavorful without being too heavy. The melted cheese on top made it even better — creamy, gooey, and so satisfying. Portion size was so generous and everything tasted fresh. Highly recommend if you’re craving a comforting, delicious meal. Will definitely be back!

I tried the Panko Prawn Japanese Curry with an added omelette, and it was a delightful and filling meal. The dish featured a generous portion of perfectly golden, crispy panko prawns. The prawns were juicy and tender on the inside, with a light, flaky coating that added a wonderful crunch. The Japanese curry was rich and mildly spiced, pairing beautifully with the rice for a comforting and flavorful experience. The omelette was a nice add-on, but I feel it could have been improved. The egg wasn’t as smooth as I expected and could have been whisked a bit longer to create a more even texture. While it still added a creamy element to the dish, refining the egg preparation would have taken this meal to the next level. The portion size was generous, making it excellent value for the price. Although, the ordering system could use some improvement. The shop printed out a small coupon for my order, and since I was seated at a distance to reserve my spot, I had to stay extra attentive to hear my number being called. This could be a bit inconvenient when the area is noisy. Despite these minor points, the meal itself was delicious and satisfying. The crispy prawns, flavorful curry, and overall generous serving make it worth a try if you’re in the mood for Japanese comfort food!

It was not Japanese style food at all, tastes weird, and the curry not thick enough, it was so liquid (it was curry flavor corn starch water I won’t call it curry) then the burger meat too salty, lack of veggies like potatoes or carrots.
