IKKO Belconnen was an absolute standout. We arrived without a reservation and were graciously accommodated for a last-minute booking of four—an impressive start to a truly wonderful dining experience. The food was incredible—fresh, authentic, and beautifully presented. Every dish felt carefully prepared and full of flavour. The portions were generous, and the menu offered something for everyone, catering well to different tastes while staying true to authentic Japanese cuisine. The venue itself is gorgeous, with a stunning atmosphere that strikes a perfect balance between modern and traditional. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Overall, IKKO delivers on all fronts: quality, service, ambience, and value. We’ll absolutely be returning. A real gem in Belconnen.

Good menu but wish there were more ramen and udon choices. I like the rice options but my favourite Japanese food is the delicious broth meals and is the best in winter. Spacious and great atmosphere but the parking was challenging and it’s tucked away in a part of Belconnen I never knew existed. Little gem of a place

I went with nine friends and family who all raved about it, not one of us was disappointed and it was first time trying this type of food. Young male waiter was happy to spend time explaining the menu and answering our questions. Some of the female waitresses had difficulty understanding our drink order but we made it in the end😃 presentation beautiful, efficiency between order and food arriving. They made sure to check in and when requests were made followed up quickly 👍 Parking a bit tricky with under ground shared parking with tenants and Anode hotel but found disability parking and public lifts eventually. We did have a fire evacuation due to apartments which ended the night in an interesting way 🤔 Very friendly, warm , clean and welcoming. We all will be going again (:
