I had the Chashu Ramen at Ajisen Ramen and it completely hit the spot! The broth was rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned – not too salty, just right. The chashu pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender with a beautiful balance of sweetness and umami. Noodles had a great chewy texture, and the portion size was generous. Every spoonful was comforting and satisfying. Definitely one of the best ramen bowls I’ve had in Sydney. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Japanese ramen!
The service was great — even though we arrived a bit late, the staff were still very patient and friendly. The food tasted pretty good too. One small downside was that there were a few little flying insects inside the restaurant at night (we went in March), so we had to wave them away while eating.
Unpretentious ramen and 5/5 for value for money. Tried this place years ago from recommendation by colleagues and went back today. The Special Tokusen Ramen is the absolute winner. If most people like me who complain that most ramen places are a ripoff for serving 3 paper thin slices of pork, this will do your wallet justice! Packed with meat, there are two pieces of slow cooked beef ribs are melt in the mouth and even on its own is a killer, 3 slices of thin pork and also 2 pieces of chicken karage too for about $23 The soup may not be on the same level as more refined ramen stores but 85% there and the egg may not be as runny as other ramen places but the noodles are chewy and the meat leaves you 1000% satisfied. Forget the other World Square ramen if you're hungry, come here!
