  • Beautiful restaurant with friendly staff and absolutely delicious abura soba! It's very hard to find quality dry soba/ramen in Sydney but Kajiken ends the search with a delightfully chewy noodle that is somehow a hybrid of ramen, soba and udon. The roast beef was yummy and paired well with its sauce, while the sukiyaki deluxe had its own flavour profile and was tremendously enjoyable. We look forward to coming back soon, hopefully more items on the menu will be available. Note the weekday lunch special involves simply adding the "special" sides to your main dish.

  • Kajiken delivers a tasty twist on ramen with their abura soba—a rich, saucy noodle dish that’s seriously addictive. We loved the chewy noodles and savory toppings, though the oil-heavy style might not be for everyone. The broth-free concept is fun, but it does leave you craving something to balance the richness. Service was quick, and the casual vibe fits the meal perfectly. Prices are fair for the portion size. Great for a quick, indulgent bite, but maybe not an everyday spot. Still, if you’re into bold flavors, it’s worth a visit!

  • Went to Kajiken for a quick lunch and ordered two of their best seller noodles + agedashi tofu and Takayuki for sides. The noodles are quite delicious, but some of the meat in is chewy and bland. The serving size of the side dishes are small —— $6 for 3 small pieces of firm tofu, perhaps the tofu is homemade? Anyway, the staff there are nice and helpful, food is served quickly. Overall it’s not bad for a quick lunch. Wish they could add more variety of options to their menu though.
