Booked seats for a family of 5 (all over 30) for a birthday and had to put down a deposit. We also couldn’t pick a time. When we arrived, we saw a family before us having a great time, so we were excited—planned to order a bottle of sake and enjoy the night. But since there was only one table, we were forced to share it with two families with a bunch of kids around 10 years old. It didn’t feel like the right setting for a group of adults trying to celebrate, so we decided to leave. Then we were blamed for not wanting to stay and for asking for our deposit back. Would only recommend if at least 8 people are coming or you have young kids.
Great experience and well worth the price. Super entertaining and the food was delicious and plentiful (not all of us managed to finished our plates). Highly recommend for a special occasion or just fun dinner out.
This restaurant is a little bit of a mixed bag. The staff are lovely including the young man that cooked our food. He was cracking jokes and gave us a fun teppanyaki experience. Not to be too judgmental, but you'd come here for the experience not the food. The food is just average, which is slightly irritating when you pay $70 per head.
