Hakata Gensuke Tonkotsu Ramen (MELB NORTH WEST)

The Gyoza is absolutely delicious! The Ramen are also delicious but I forgot the names so just look at the photos. Thin noodles is the best for me. 0.5 spicy level is too much for my embarrassingly weak tongue, but I was still able to finish it. We were very fortunate because we didn’t have to queue for a long time. Some people had to wait outside. Other than that everything is great. Food is great. Staff great too. Not bad for my first try. Will come back again!

Nice thick and rich tonkotsu ramen. Normally I like the thicker ones with a really rich pork soup taste, and this probably the closest one in Melbourne that hits the spot. Cant beat Gumshara in sydney but a good Melbourne alternative for ramen cravings! The extra ramen is a full ramen (not half) so be careful if you're not hungry! And the great thing is you can separately choose the firmness of your ramen noodle and firmness of the extra noodle. Good service and clean restaurant. A bit of a line though if you go during peak dinner time but people come and go pretty fast. Recommended!

After having a few drinks at another place, I dropped by here for their signature ramen. In Japan, it’s pretty common to end a night out with a bowl of ramen — that’s exactly why I came. The taste was impressively close to authentic Japanese ramen, and it was served super fast.
