Dons and Sushi Bar – Kelmscott WA (STIRLING)

Got take away lunch, Spicy chicken katsu rice bowl and spicy prawn katsu rice bowl. We ate this too quickly before I could take a proper photo, but it was so good! It was cooked fresh, generous amount of ingredients and large serves. The katsu was crunchy and well cooked. The sauces were generous and flavourful. Good value for what you pay I think. A wonderful find!

Delicious food. Treat yourself with one of the best asian restaurants in Kelmscott, Dons and Sushi Bar. I’ve been here a few times now and they never disappoint. The food is always good, the chicken is always crispy and their sauces are always mouth-watering. You would never expect a small restaurant in Kelmscott to pack such a punch like they do. Thank you don :)

I had heard such good things about this place but upon having my own meal and reading the reviews, I’m pretty disappointed. My katsu curry was pretty good in terms of flavour but the texture of the vegetables was crunchy and the chicken was obviously refried or old. I also waited quite a while for my meal so I don’t understand what took so long - seeming as the chicken was old and the vegetables undercooked. Sorry guys! I would have loved to support a local business but not if you are going to be sloppy with the cooking :)
