I ordered tonkotsu ramen through Uber Eats. I thought ordering soup like ramen would be difficult, but the packaging was thoughtful, which I was impressed by, and the delivery was fast. Unfortunately, the food itself had no flavor at all. The egg was way too salty, and the broth was bland. Personally, I enjoy when different ramen types have their own distinct taste, but with this one, I had to add chili just to give it some flavor. I couldn’t even finish it. Really disappointed.
Good experience for us. Food was decent! Lots of avo but we didn't like that sashimi was swimming in a bowl of syrup and had to remove most of it before dining. I suggest just putting that heavy syrup in a separate cup instead?
Best local Japanese restaurant in Brisbane by a long shot. The staff and owners are always extremely friendly and make you feel at home. Seating is comfortable and the atmosphere is calming. The food is delicious and extremely well priced. I personally recommend the donburi dishes. The eel or karaage donburi are my personal favourites but everything is amazing. The sides are all well worth ordering and are perfect serving sizes for both one person or a group to pick at. I make a habit of visiting whenever I've had a tough day and it never fails to bring me back up and put a smile on my face.
