We love this place, our go place when we want a great ramen. Portions are great and love the different brothes, full of flavour. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend Hikari Ramen. We'll be back for sure.
Had lunch here with work colleagues (5) of us. I ordered Black Garlic Ramen/Shio with extra chunky chashu. The broth was pretty good, but i couldn't really taste it that much. Maybe the extra chunky chashu absorbed the flavours. The marinaded soft boiled eggs were cooked perfectly. The extra chunky chashu was very generous. The ramen came out very quickly and loved the open kitchen. Overall, it's pretty good ramen.
The ramen is decent. We got the chashu lover, spicy miso, and kids classic but it took almost half an hour before the orders were out on a Thursday night. It’s hard to appreciate how the food actually tasted as we were already starved by the time it was served. They did get the side dishes out sooner than that, but it just didn’t feel good waiting that long for ramen. The outside of the resto looks so inviting, but it is quite messy inside. Boxes everywhere, makes it feel so cluttered and takes away from the atmosphere. It feels so slow inside and staff don’t really greet you and guide you to seats the way they normally do in Japanese restaurants. Staff quite indifferent.
