  • The menu is very much adjusted to the western palette and lacking authenticity. I was disappointed with the range of menu items to choose from. I ordered Japanese green tea, and the pot came with a tea bag in it, not loose leaf tea. The only vegetables are edemame beans (which were yummy), and the vegetable gyoza tastes like the frozen ones from Coles or Woolies. I would not recommend Okami for vegetarians. The staff are friendly and the place appeared clean with efficient service. I really appreciated the waste tax. In a bid to prevent unnecessary food waste, there's a surcharge for uneaten food by weight to deter customers from ordering more than they can eat and promote conscious consumerism.

  • Its Mothers Day and definitely its the Busiest day, BUT the staffs manage their job perfectly, they serve the food just right in time and manage their role perfectly. Not waiting too long is the best part. Well Done!!! This is our favourite place for our Tummy!♥♥♥ @okamiaustraliapenrith

  • Have been here a few times and more recently with a large group of 11 people for a birthday celebration. They were very accommodating for gluten free relatives with separate safe menu for ordering. All you can eat is great value, staff are lovely and we absolutely stuffed ourselves with tasty food! It is so fun to try many new foods. Highly rate, great for groups as well as smaller tables suited well for groups of 2-4. Definitely book ahead, its popular!
