We popped into Mikazuki for a weekday lunch and left completely impressed. The clam ramen is an absolute must-try—rich, briny broth with deep umami flavor and perfectly chewy noodles. Every spoonful was pure comfort. Service was quick and the staff were genuinely warm and helpful. The vibe is cozy but modern, great for a casual meal. The seating is comfortable. Easy ordering system. Prices are reasonable.
Mikazuki Chatswood locates at Victoria Avenue next to one of the most busy entrances to Westfield Chatswood. There are 2 eating floors and we are asked to go upstairs for table #19 The salmon is fresh in the poke bowls and sushi roll. It’s worthy to pay extra $3 for a set of mini salad + mini miso soup. The edamame is also nice to mix with truffle sauce. The quality of prawn and vegetable tempura is good. Parking is convenient at Westfield carpark.
Been here a couple times and it’s a consistently good Japanese option. The staff was kind enough to let us in just before the kitchen closed and service was prompt. Portions are decent and the menu has a wide variety of dishes. We got the sashimi sushi set today which was presented beautifully and was nice and fresh! We also got the tempura vegetables which was a generous serving but a bit oily.
