Fujiyama Noodle Bar (CHATSWOOD)

Fujiyama Noodle Bar is a reliable go-to for tasty, affordable ramen in Chatswood. The broth is rich and flavorful and the noodles have just the right chew. Prices are wallet-friendly, great for a filling lunch or dinner. The vibe is casual and service is quick, though the seating can get cramped during peak hours in the food court. Comforting, no-fuss ramen.

This was my favourite Japanese place. I come here 1-2x a week and get the same thing everytime so I KNOW the portion sizes. I came today (11 May 2025) for dinner and was shocked to receive almost HALF the portion I normally get. I double checked with the staff about it but a new female employee (the chef) was rude and dismissive, declaring that it is double portion. This is a new staff I think (never seen her before), so I'm disappointed this happened. To top it off, the sauce was burnt with black bits.

We are a frequent customer of this outlet but it's the first time we tried out the King size curry set. A bit disappointed with the meat portion as we only get 2 tonkatsu, 2 karaage, 2 shrimp, 1 egg with lots of rice for the price of $35. It's better to buy individual meals and cheaper than this king size plate with lots of rice only. We expect to have more meats but this is not the case. Lots of rice leftovers at the end without meat.
