My second time at Gogyo and it was as good as the first! We ordered the spicy garlic edamame, fried mushroom, original veggie gyoza and veggie ramen. All dishes were packed full of flavour. The ramen broth was super creamy and delicious - the perfect dish for a cold night. Only a minor complaint I have is that it took a while to order with a waitress, but other than that the staff were very friendly. Looking forward to coming back!
⭐️3.5/5 Tried a few dishes here and overall, it was a decent experience: • Kingfish sashimi: fresh and tasty—definitely recommend it. • Octopus karaage: some pieces were a bit too floury and slightly salty. • Gyoza: juicy filling, though the skin could’ve used a bit more time on the pan. • Ramen: Both the classic and modern versions tasted quite similar. The modern one includes garlic oil, which added a slightly bitter aftertaste 🥲🥲. Personally, I found the broth today was not salty enough — it’s fine if eaten separately from the noodles, but a bit off when combined. Wouldn’t mind coming back to try other dishes but there are rooms for improvement :)
